"We really did enjoy our time here! The staff are wonderful and the location is great. It looks like this used to be an EconoLodge but is no longer. The owners have clearly spent some time and effort improving the property, with large new TVs and furnishings. I do think however first and foremost the mattresses need to be replaced and soundproofing installed in the door frames. The mattresses have got to be older than I am and you can hear every word spoken outside. This is a lovely property that could definitely be 5 stars in the future with some more work!"

"The exterior looked clean and cared for It smelled bad out there (not their fault) The receptionist was friendly, efficient and helpful. The breakfast burrito and sandwich were tasty. Our room was spacious and updated. The tub/shower was the only reason for deducting 1 star . It had a tiny bit of mold. Pink around the drain and dark specs in the caulk. The shower head was so high I couldn't reach it to adjust the pattern nor direction. Overall the stay was fine and would certainly be a repeat guest if in the area again."

"We LOVE the location of this property. We love that we can come, park and not leave the area for a few days unless we want to- we love the sleepy little town, the locally owned cafe and restaurants and the lovely beach. We can sleep with our window open at night and listen to the waves crash in the background- it works for us! Check in was a bit tricky, but in the end, we got it figured out-"

"Heads-up for those heat-intolerant that need AC, they only have it in some rooms so make sure to specifically request those rooms. Otherwise, you'll just get a floor fan. For how expensive the property is, that's not great. Also, we paid for an oceanview room but our room was along the side facing the side-road, so it was a partial view room in reality. Like ~1/3 of a view. There are fireplaces in the images for the rooms, but there was no fireplace in our room. Otherwise, they have a hot tub being built later this year, so that's nice. And free root beer on tap."
