We had a great time! The reasons I scored amenities lower is the surfing was not working and shockingly there was no hot tub. All and all the place was fun and kids had a wonderful time.

My son had a great time in the water park and the staff was excellent. The food was good with lots of family friendly activities and with the Mall of America so close there's even more opportunities for family fun. My only complaints were a very uncomfortable bed that was one of the worst I have ever slept on and the fact that everything is so expensive to the point our family ate at MOA most of the time because it was less expensive.

The room was clean but overall basic. The bunkbed room for the kids was a fun feature. We stayed 4 nights and our room wasn’t serviced once. We needed to ask for garbage bags (to empty our own garbage) and fresh towels. We understand the hotel was very busy (Easter weekend) but having our room attended to once would have been nice.

We had a great time on our spring break with grandkids. Staff were excellent. You can access the pool when it opens before check in on day of arrival. Lazy River including wave pool & water slides were great. Very close to MOA —so one evening we ate there at food court & went on rides there too. Arcade at GWL was also fun & dance nights in lobby were great for kids & bubble machines. Such a great time. On check out day—you can use pool & activities after checkout to closing. Kids were worn out by early afternoon & slept on way home. So much fun!!!

The double room is a joke, it would easily pass as a double queen bed room with a partition with mini bank beds. It’s not worth it. Better get a double queen bed room. Overall rooms are less that most hotels with the same amenities. Unless you are just paying for the waterpark. Not impressed.

I was concerned about parking since I heard last year there was an issue but it seemed okay. The staff honestly were really awesome well the ones I interacted with anyway the cleaning staff. The side lamps did not work I was hoping they would since I have really bad eyesight. I was hoping to check out with the front desk so I could get my last bill but the line was horrible and they were really short staffed that was disappointing .The one person I interacted with so I could ask the question was kind of I really, don't know how to put it not rude but not as friendly. But my grandkids had Fun I guess that's what all that counts.

Parking was packed and no sense of direction. Room was clean though. Water park was way over crowded. 20+ mins waiting for a water slide. Tubes for lazy river was very limited. Life guards very unfriendly. Pop machine broke in water park, so had to use bar. Only one bartender so the wait was ridiculous for a pop fill. Overall my rating would be 3/10. I’ve heard great things about great wolf but it was nothing to brag about. Half the arcade games weren’t working. Donut shop didn’t even sell donuts but donut holes. Elevators wait time was 4+mins. Restaurant prices were ridiculous for the quality. I’d probably never come back or suggest it to others. Unless they made some changes. And furthermore most hotel pools close at 10-11pm. Why does it close at 8pm? That’s only 3hrs of play time day of check in. Checking out and using waterpark isnt as efficient as having a room.

All the activities you could want and then some. Staff was friendly. My kids had a blast, heck, even I (Dad) had fun. Rooms were nice, quiet, and clean. The water in the water park was nice and warm, good for the kids to play for hours. Lots of people, but that was expected. Staff does a good job managing crowds and keeping things moving. Our stay was great. 1 thing I am annoyed about- the billing end. First I accidentally picked the wrong nights when booking through Expedia. After literally and hour on hold with great Wolf Lodge, I gave up. Went through Expedia- they were about to fix my mistake but I had to be charged literally double. I admit, it was my mistake. But a small typo by me cost me basically another nights stay. Expedia tried to get Great Wolf Lodge to waive it since I tried to fix immediately after booking, but GWL would not waive the fee. Also, I got charged twice for parking. Tried to call to get it fixed, but was on hold forever. Was only 40 bucks instead of 20 but still...

Overall experience was good, overwhelming. Check in was an absolute joke 3 people doing it while it could allow 6 people doing it, Get it together seriously. Most staff were friendly aside from a few. The elevators were also a disaster we spent most time waiting for those. Everything is al a cart come here expecting to spend some $$$. I don't know what was going on in the pool area but people were puking in the pool area multiple times. I ended up stepping into a pile and that was the end of it for me. Absolutely disgusting. Come here with zero expectations and you'll have a blast! We will return someday hopefully they read these reviews and adjust a few things. I will add the rooms are super spacious and clean! So that was fantastic.
