"Staff at Oulton Hall are the stand out feature. From check in to Oliver in the restaurant to the waiting staff at breakfast, all are well above expectations. Old school service where staff wait for you to pass rather than rushing to get where THEY need to be is actually quite refreshing these days. Can some things be improved, sure but this hotel has a lovely pool, great dinner and breakfast and just a lovely vibe. Check it out, for the most of us, it’s a wonderful experience. "

"Clean and tidy rooms, very spacious with great pillows and a very comfortable bed. The large smart TV was an added welcome bonus. Our rom location meant we could hear loud noise coming from outside the building, but you could hardly hear it if the windows were shut. Staff seemed friendly and were able to accommodate our early check in. 8/10"

"Check in was easy & we were shown our room & where everything was. We were asked what we wanted for breakfast & what time. The breakfast was very good & prompt including toast & either tea or coffee. The location is very central & within walking distance & has a car park which made things easier. The only downside which was beyond their control was the 17 weeks of roadworks nearby which confused the sat nav. Definitely would use again. "We loved the executive lodge,nice and warm and clean,we had food in the restaurant which was lovely,it was quite lively as the was a wedding but the setting of the property is stunning,breakfast was just ok the food was warm and the plate was extremely hot bit wierd."
