"Incredible views of the lake! Not very clean, there was mold growing on some of the walls and lots of bugs "

"The property gave a fantastic upgrade and over "

"Excellent room with a good view, both breakfast and dinner options and food quality was very good. Staff was friendly however the pictures associated with the standard room was not accurate and we had to pay extra for an upgrade to the deluxe room ( pictures of which were associated with the standard room when we booked). Staff was friendly and polite but could not upgrade as a courtesy even though the pictures did not match the room."

"Wonderful food helpful staff great welcome 🤗 It's a very good deal close to the centre in a garden of tea. Stay here if they have rooms"

"Excellent customer service by manager Kamal at front desk, amazing hotel"

"The hotel is in horrible condition . No hoteater, air conditioning jot working."

"Great breakfast, friendly staff"

"Rude staff in the morning. No troubleshooting"

"Sterling Darjeeling is a great place to stay for a trip to the area. The location is much better than anything close to the mall. You can avoid all the traffic and noise of central Darjeeling. Views of the valley and surround mountains are great. The staff is very helpful. If you’re traveling from the airport, you will get to the property much faster (hours) than any place close to the mall because of all the traffic even though it’s only a few kilometers away. I would highly recommend Sterling...

"It is a heritage hotel in keeping with bygone times. Super close to the mall. Lovely dining room for dinner with fireplace and candlelit. Food was terrific with alot of choices. Buffet bfast but you can request eggs how u like. Some renovation works currently but all staff and workmen encountered always super polite and helpful beyond . If I were to go back to darjeeling I would definitely stay here. ...the drive from bagdogra to darjeeling is an experience in itself."
