Candlewood Suites Sidney by IHG
8/10 Good
"I booked a walk in shower because of hip surgery. They did not have a room on the first floor but they were able to find one on the secone floor. I was also expecting a bell boy to help me with my luggage. There was none."
"The room was very clean, but the girl working the front deck doesn’t know anything about the rooms. My husband is in a wheelchair so I asked for a roll in shower. I get up to the room and it doesn’t have a roll in shower. I go back down and tell her and she had no idea if any of the rooms have a room in shower."
"We were very pleased with the staff when I called to inquire the extra fee that showed on my bank statement but she was so kind to explain that banks on occasion add but refund and that was the case within the day. The breakfasts were fabulous. I hope they get keying machine fixed. It was up to them to open the door. Also the pool was great and warm. The hot tub was great. Though disappointed to hear they charge for my grandchildren to come as guests and swim there was a $10 each fee. It was not posted or noted on the HOTELS.com site. They were disappointed we would not pay that."
"This is a new hotel meant for long term guests who may have family at the newly built hospital. There was nothing wrong with the place. It was clean, friendly, super good breakfast and clearly built for long terms guest with kitchens in the room and larger closets. Sadly, we were only there for one night"
