This was an extremely affordable place to suit our last-minute decision to stay in Koshigoe. The room was great, everything was pretty basic but for the price we paid it was more than enough. The owners were wonderful despite our very limited Japanese and even gifted us some postcards on departure! We were able to leave our bags on the day of checkout and explore the area before heading onto our next destination.

A great Kamakura base, right across from the beach. A mixture of ryokan charm and modern Japanese comfort. It is conveniently situated, just a 25-minute walk from Kamakura Station. There is a lovely cafe next door, with information available in the accommodation. The host is very friendly and helpful. The accommodation itself is lovely, featuring two comfortable single beds, an armchair, a mini-fridge, and a spa bathtub. There is a narrow staircase to enter, but this just adds to its charm....

This is a wonderful place to stay. The location at the end of a little track is exciting and then the rooms are beautiful. There are little private onsen dotted around the grounds so it is worth arriving early to try out a few in your yukata. There is an incredible dinner at 6pm- a varied selection of sashimi, miso soup and many other delicacies- all of it is beautifully presented.breakfast was a similar feast. Great location and easy check in. Everything was perfect minus the weird smell of bathroom (perhaps cleaned with old rags). The beds were comfortable and there was just enough space. Really enjoyed this stay

A great hotel, ideally situated for easy access for the underground and trains. One of the best we stayed in during a 3 week visit to Japan. Like most Japanese hotels, the bedrooms are small but opt for a twin room for so much more space.

What a lovely place to stay, very clean and comfortable and not too difficult to find. Especially enjoyed the breakfast.

I liked the location. It was very convenient. The train station was nearby. Food outlets were convenient. Chinatown was amazing. I found the staircase steep. The inconvenience for us was the lack of an elevator. We had heavy luggage and found it hard to bring it up the stairs.
