The room was clean and had all appropriate amenities. I did have trouble getting the television to work. It was a problem with the cable box not turning on so, no TV. Other than the television, everything was appropriate for a "Discount Single" motel room.

Very clean room. I stayed here when the building was brand new back in the early 2000's! They haven't changed anything in the rooms interior. It is old, but serves its purpose if all you need is peace, quiet, and a clean place to rest!

Staff was friendly. I didn't complain, because the room was nice & clean, but I did reserve a queen bed. The foundation & headboard was indeed FOR a queen, but there was a FULL mattress on it. Since my husband is 6ft tall & we're not skinny people it wasn't very comfortable. Otherwise the inside of the room was nice for an overnight stay. Thanks.

Worth the price and the location was perfect for what we needed it for. The room was an older room with some cosmetic issues but the room its self was clean and the bed was comfy. The room is huge and the bathroom was semi updated. The exterior of the place could use some work.

Great value in Turlock.

Good value, very clean and comfortable room. Nicely furnished, bathroom is modern and very functional. TV worked fine. Microwave and large compact refrigerator were convenient. Lots of parking. Adjorning restaurant was very good, big portions, budget priced. Good location near restaurants and shopping. EV chargers nearby.

I stayed here years ago and it was better. The place has clearly not been maintained to good enough standards. The good news was a good bed, parking by the room, good TV, microwave, fridge, fair lighting, and the AC did work however knobs here missing from the unit and the desk clerk had to set it up for me. There was a hair dryer that was broken but the worst part was NO HOT WATER. Neither the shower nor the lavatory had hot water. I did speak to another person staying there and to be fair, they DID have hot water, but not me. Sorry man, that just can't happen. I will say they still had the Christmas lights hanging from the structure in the middle of the complex..a nice touch

Very reasonably priced.

This is an older motel that has been completely refurbished. Clean and quiet, comfortable bed, too. I didn't try the wifi but my guess is it would be fast because there is a router in every room. Too many motels have routers that are supposed to cover multiple rooms. My only complaint is it was a little hard to roust someone up to check me out around 7:30 or 8:00 AM

If you want Rest, go else where

It's a 60s era motel. The front staff were kind. The room was clean but run down. You had to sign a bunch of forms acknowledging you were liable for any damage. The worst part was the outside my window fiesta and the constant train noise. Lesson learned you get what you pay for

It was decent especially for pricing. It was clean. I'd say the beds are a little firmer than I'd like but that's just on me because of my bed preference, so can't take away for that. Their restaurant is great food and you get plenty on your plate. A bonus was a discount off food from their restaurant for staying there. I had no issues. The staff was very friendly and nice if you had any questions. I will look to booking here again if I need a place to stay in the area.

Probably the best deal in Turlock

Appreciate it for what it is. Sunrise Inn is an older motel originally built on US 99 that has been bypassed when they turned 99 into a freeway and moved it about a mile out of town. The motel has been refurbished well. It is clean and quiet. The beds are comfortable and not overly soft and there is plenty of bedding. This is the third time I stayed there while visiting Turlock and will stay again. The rooms all have refrigerators, microwaves, coffee pots & coffee. There are plenty of electrical outlets and the free wifi is stable and fast. The rates are lower than several of the chain motels in Turlock that have lower ratings than the Sunrise Inn. Nothing is cheap anymore, but this motel probably has the biggest value for the buck in Turlock. It is family owned.

In a 5 night stay, the room was never cleaned, the towels were never changed, the trash was never emptied. I also didn’t appreciate being made to stand out in the cold while checking in. The heater didn’t work properly, it had to stay running all night, and there’s no WiFi It was reasonably clean, and reasonably quiet. Overpriced.

I liked the trees though they did make a mess of my car. The room was nice. The smoke detector started beeping in the middle of the night and nieither of the phone numbers on the card key reached the front desk. I was finally able to get help from the security staff and he disconnected the wires. I would have appreciated some consideration for the loss of sleep, but my suggestion of a free additional night fell on deaf ears. Still not bad at all for the price.
