"The cabin in itself is fine. The kitchen is adequate and the bathroom okay, although the sink only had hot water and the shower minimal water pressure. It is an eco cabin, so I guess this is the reason. Outside was really nice with lots of kangaroos and cockatoos. We had booked 2 bedrooms but were rung the day before asking what beds should be made up. We said one bedroom. The result was the 2nd bedroom was locked. We usually put the bags in there ... and we had paid for it. The absolutely worst thing was the smell when we went in. There was a pungent fishy smell that was strong and disturbing. it seemed somewhat better the next day, but certainly not gone. We would not return because of this."

Upon collecting the keys, I walked into reception and was immediately met with a strong curry odor, which was quite unpleasant. Unfortunately, my room was located right next to reception, and the smell had permeated the space, making it difficult for me and my fellow travelers to relax. I had to sleep with the window open, which meant dealing with noise from passing pedestrians, and my companions couldn’t do the same because their window screen was broken. Additionally, there was no designated parking spot for my room and no mini refrigerator provided. To their credit, the staff did assist in resolving both issues, which I appreciated. However, after an eight-hour drive from Melbourne, I expected a more comfortable stay. Overall, I was very disappointed."
