"We had a lovely stay, the place was nice, it was close to some lovely walks on the beach and in nature parks. We liked our hot tub but it was just a tad too hot and it wouldn’t cool down with the controls, we even left the top open and it stayed at 40 degrees, we couldn’t stay in for very long. The shower was either boiling or freezing but we still enjoyed and can’t wait to go back some day :)"

"My daughter and I stayed in the Orme lodge, it was lovely. Nice and warm, squirrels outside the windows. Hot tub is just a hot tub - not one with bubbles! so don't look for a button to press lol Very peaceful. If you go with kids (i went with teenager) then maybe take a laptop to watch netflix etc on. wifi connection great. Don't wear sliders on your feet when trying to do the fire or else you will slip on the mud which is hilarious to a teenager btw. Hot tub takes about 4 hours to...

"Absolutely amazing accomodation. Nice, clean, quiet.
We spent 9 nights here and when we had to leave we were sad for going home. We'll come back here every time we are visiting Wales again.
Absolutely beautifull place to stay at"

"Dear Moxy Chester Management,
I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding our recent stay at Moxy Chester, which was unfortunately quite disappointing and uncomfortable.
We have stayed at other Moxy hotels on multiple occasions and have always had positive experiences, which makes this stay particularly disappointing.
The first issue related to the room temperature on our first night. At approximately 10pm, our room temperature was reading 23 degrees and would not reduce despite us trying every available setting and adjustment. We initially attempted to tolerate the heat and went to sleep hoping the temperature would improve overnight. However, we woke up around 1am due to the excessive heat in the room, which genuinely felt like a sauna.
We went downstairs and reported this to reception during the night at 1am, and the receptionist kindly provided us with an alternative room. Unfortunately, the replacement room was also excessively hot at approximately 22.5 degrees. At that stage, we had no realistic option other than to return to our original room and attempt to sleep there.
We raised the matter again the following morning, and reception checked other rooms, however the temperatures throughout appeared to remain between 22 and 23 degrees.
This was highly uncomfortable and unacceptable, particularly as we were travelling with our dog. The room was far too hot for both guests and pets to remain in comfortably overnight. We were left dehydrated, and with dry ski"
"Excellent stay at The Resident very clean room with attention to detail of everything you would need for a visit. All staff extremely friendly and efficient, would definitely stay again, highly recommended."
"Our second time staying at the Maldron. This is a modern hotel, with comfortable well equipped rooms. Some with a view to the city and others with a view to an internal quadrangle. But if your lucky as we were on our last stay you get the third view, a fantastic view of Albert Dock and the River. We had breakfast with our room and it was a very well presented self service offering of a very high standard. The bar is well stocked and offers a variety of cocktails, beers, wines and spirits. The bar area was very comfortable and the prices are what you would expected in a city centre hotel lounge bar. The staff at this hotel have always been friendly, attentive and willing to assist guests whenever required. This hotel does not have its own parking and we parked at the Q-park John Lewis multistory as recommended by thd hotel, which is just over the road and just a short walk. Prebooking and using the discount code provided by the hotel for a very welcome 30% reduction in the cost. We ate in the hotel restaurant on the Saturday evening and we were a bit disappointed to be honest. My wife's pizza was fine but I ordered the fish and chips and it arrived looking somewhat overcooked and certainly did not warrant the price we paid. Not letting this affect our stay we had a wonderful stay at the Maldron and will certainly use this hotel again on our next visit to Liverpool."
"Great hotel with all the character of the old warehouse intact and the bedroom corridors are like the dark areas in the bowels of the Titanic (not that I was there - but with a little imagination!)"
