"Very friendly staff, amazing location on canal. Room was large and very comfortable. Restaurant is excellent. Had dinner there two evenings and tried five different dishes - all delicious. Some of the best food we've had in Germany. Lots of nice walking paths - along the canal, beach area, to local ruins of a monastery. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away."

"Die Unterkunft ist sehr „ab vom Schuss“, was mit einer sehr ruhigen und grünen Lage einhergeht. Mit dem Auto ist sie gut zu erreichen und bietet großzügige Parkmöglichkeiten. Der Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und hat uns auch während einer medizinischen Notsituation jederzeit geholfen, Taxis organisiert und auch außerhalb der Essenszeiten noch etwas zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Betten waren für uns zwar sehr unbequem, jedoch wurde sofort als wir das gemeldet haben Abhilfe geschaffen. "

"We stayed one night at the Hotel Pommernland having flown in to the nearby Anklam airfield. As it was the Ascention weekend there were no taxis available so the hotel manager Eric kindly gave us a lift into town to a greek restaurant. Hotel was clean and tidy and the rooms were absolutely fine. My only criticism is that there was only 1 feather pillow supplied which was way too soft, my head sunk straight through it. Breakfast was OK."

"Ich hatte einen sehr tollen Aufenthalt. Die Mitarbeiter waren in jedem Bereich sehr freundlich und die Zimmer und der gesamte Hotelbereich war sehr sauber. Das Essen am Abend im Restaurant war lecker und die Atmosphäre war unheimlich gemütlich. Auch das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und schmackhaft. "I was travelling with friends who had another room but had the same experience. There was a problem with the aircon and our room temperature was 26c. I reported this to reception and the chap went to another room to remotely set the temperature for me. In the mean time he suggested opening our window until the temperature became acceptable. If there was a problem with the aircon then why weren’t we notified on checking in? And why didn’t they set the temperature beforehand to 21c instead of leaving it at 26c? My friends had a similar experience and we overheard someone else at reception having the same problem. Also, there was no water in the room. "

"I would recommend to request the 5th floor. There is a mini golf course directly in front of the hotel and the noise level is high into the night. The advertised pool was out of order, but we got a coupon for a nearby indoor pool. Unfortunately very crowded. If you want piece and quiet, look somewhere else. "
