A lovely, elegant and well maintained hotel with the friendliest and most helpful staff. My stay was all about relaxing after a trek and it ticked all the boxes for comfort and convenience. The restaurant food was delicious, the beer cold and the evening entertainment top-notch. Would definitely recommend this place.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent stay at Hotel Sapphire. The room was exceptionally clean and well maintained, with excellent amenities throughout. The bathroom was spotless and looked amazing, with a great shower and very clean facilities. As a traveler from Canada, I was particularly impressed by the level of cleanliness and overall quality. There were no bugs or bed bugs, and the hotel was maintained to a standard that reminded me of a Marriott hotel. Everything felt comfortable, safe, and welcoming. Hotel Sapphire truly felt like a home away from home. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mombasa and needing to stay in town.

Everything was perfect, the bed was super comfortable, big shower with hot water, every day different activity at the bar and the most important -all the staff is super nice, attentive and friendly, especially Emily from the customer care. Will be glad to come back again in the future.

Sehr schönes Frühstücksbuffet inklusive Koch für Spiegelei, Rührei etc. Wir hatten eine Executive-Suite, sehr groß mit kleiner Kocheinheit, Wohnzimmer mit schöner Sitzgruppe und großes Schlafzinmer mit nochmals einer kleinen Sitzecke, Badezimmer ist allerdings eher klein, sehr schön, Top Aircondition.

I stayed at Hotel Sapphire for one night last week, and unfortunately the experience fell below expectations. The first room had an unpleasant smell and no hot water. We were moved to a better room, but the next morning there was again no hot water, which was particularly disappointing for such a basic hotel service. Breakfast was fairly average, and many of the staff appeared to be trainees or interns, which may have contributed to the inconsistency in service. My wife and I also used the spa. A 5% discount was advertised in the hotel lift, but when we asked for it at the spa, the staff member said she was unaware of the offer and remarked that she does not use the lift. Reception later confirmed that the discount should indeed have been applied, but it had not been. Overall, the hotel was acceptable in parts, but the repeated hot-water issue and inconsistent service made the stay disappointing.

The photos don’t do the rooms justice. Very comfortable and spacious. The staff are all very attentive and hospitable! Food at the restaurant was also lovely. AC is good and strong in the rooms to cool you down after a day in the Mombasa heat. Well above and beyond expectations for the price.
