We chose this hotel because it was listed as pet friendly. When we arrived we were told we were not allowed to take our dog through the front door , to use the external door to our room. Because it is winter there was a lot of salt in the step and only a small mat at the door to wipe our feet on. The hotel thoughtfully included a boot tray for our wet shoes but it was almost impossible not to track in some dirt and salt and to have it spread across the room.
The room was incredibly warm despite turning the temperature down several times. And there must be very little soundproofing between floors. There were what sounded like kids running up and down the corridor above us past 11 and also the people in the room above us sounded to be moving furniture u til 1230.
I will likely not stare here again.
