"This is a two star hotel, but the quality at which it is kept makes it feel as though it is much, much better! Seriously happy with this hotel, very clean, close to everything (as every hotel in Zermatt is), good water pressure and hot water. Breakfast is good, although if you like bacon/eggs/sausage there isn’t any except some eggs which you have to boil yourself. Other than that there was a wide variety of bread and pretzels, yoghurts, ham, cheese and cereal and some fruit. For the price paid and the prices of other hotels, this is a great choice! The rooms, however, don’t have air con so you rely on cool air coming through."

"Everything was great, Bcz of the lower temp, they don’t have air conditioning but they provided us with fans. Even if we were early, we got our room ready in 10 to 15 mins, staff were very polite and helpful. Food was great. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend to family and friends."

"A few seconds walk from Zermatt train station. We stayed in the Stars Suite for two nights. I cannot think of one negative thing that anyone could say about this hotel, the spa or the staff. The welcome was so wonderful, the apartment was top drawer, the spa (day 5 and day 7 were my favourites) is an experience to really indulge in. The view of the Matterhorn…!! Breakfast is even better than you can imagine. Then on your doorstep are many many fabulous bars, restaurants, boutique shops and stores. No cars, no trucks only yodelling electric tuk tuks! Absolute bliss."

"Perfect from start to finish, we had a mountain view and it was breathtaking. Staff was super kind. Breakfast was delicious and a lot of variety. Building is quiet and in a great location. But the icing on the cake was the “ lunch” bag we received, because we were checking out early and would miss breakfast. When the front desk person found out we were checking out early, they asked if we would like a sandwich for the train. We picked it up the evening before and it was a full bag of sandwiches, fruit, and more! What a wonderful send off. Would never stay anywhere else. I would give it 1000 stars if I could"
