The young guy on reception was very polite and helpful. The rooms are basic, but clean and the beds are comfortable - the view over the lake to the mountains is stunning. But omg New Zealand, home of sandflies, put insect screens on windows!😀

We stayed in the basic cabins and they were so cute! Very clean and cozy, there was a heater in the room so it was super nice! The bathrooms never felt too busy and were clean!

Stayed here for a night before a Doubtful Sound cruise. The location was perfect (right down the street from the RealNZ ferry). The facilities were simple but very comfy.
