"Great place. The atmosphere of the resort is amazing. You cant tell there are other guests since the trees provide so much privacy. Again, the ambiance with the trees and natural woods makes it so lovely. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. The common areas are gorgeous and have such a great view of sunset. Didnt bother eating at the restaurant cos of prices; but its just Siargao prices in general. Massage place across the street is good. "

"I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mad Monkey Hostel Siargao and I must say, it was an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly staff who were always willing to help. The hostel itself is located in a prime spot, just a short walk away from the famous Cloud 9 surf break and other popular spots on the island. The common areas are spacious and well-designed, with plenty of spaces for guests to relax and socialize in. The dorm rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and individual lockers for each guest. I also appreciated the fact that there were curtains on each bed for added privacy. One of the highlights of my stay at Mad Monkey was the daily activities organized by the hostel. From surfing lessons to island hopping tours, there was always something fun and exciting to do. The staff were also very knowledgeable about the island and its attractions, and were happy to provide recommendations and tips. The on-site bar and restaurant were also a great addition, serving up delicious food and drinks at affordable prices. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. But what really sets Mad Monkey apart from other hostels is the amazing atmosphere. "My friends and I all agree that Patrick’s Resort is a magical place. The traditional Kubo style accommodations made the experience all that more unique in comparison to the other resorts in General Luna. This hideaway is situated right in front of this amazing beach nestled among an array of Philippine “tuk tuk” and modern style boats anchored in the shallows. "We enjoyed the hotel's amazing view from our room, the infinity pool and great customer service. One negative I could say is the wifi internet from our room is no good. However Wifi access from restaurant and reception office is fairly good. I might add that the noise of creaking bed is a bit annoying. Overall it was a great stay."
