"This was a GREAT stay! Perfect location ... right in the Roman theater arena, yet our room was not on the inside of the walls, so it was nice and quiet at night. Accommodations were wonderful, clean and comfortable; location was perfect. We were at the arena, close to the Roman wall around the city, and very close and walkable to several food, shopping, and historical sights. Definitely recommend this location!"

"La Boheme is a charming B&B in the heart of Lucca’s old city convenient to restaurants, shops, and sites. Our room was clean and quiet, despite being situated above an bustling narrow street. The host Chiara was friendly and helpful and gave us great dining and concert recommendations. We would definitely stay at her establishment upon returning to this delightful city."

"Mirko was a fantastic host and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. The bedroom was spotlessly clean and tidy, with a very comfortable mattress and pillows. The shower had great water pressure, and I loved the light cotton towels, which dried very quickly. My window overlooked a secluded private garden, and on warm nights I could leave it open and fall asleep to the sound of crickets, then wake up to birdsong in the morning. It felt like being in the middle of a forest. There is also a wall...

"It’s a unique place. The inside has a lot of heritage and if you like old buildings, you would love it. I do! Most staffs were helpful and nice, except one, who unfortunately is also the owner. After we booked the property, a few weeks before the stay I messaged the host requesting a crib for our baby and a cab from airport. There was absolutely no response until the day before traveling asking for our arrival time. Still we had no response to our original request. The person who asked for the...
