"Room was clean but the hotel was very noisy. Fire alarm went off right after my morning shower. (I was trying to quickly put on clothes when it finally was turned off.) When I asked about it at checkout, I was told it was burnt toast in the dining room and they were working hard to get “the elevators and everything else back up and running because when the fire alarm goes off it shuts everything down.” Made me think maybe it happens frequently."

I had called to change my room from a king to a double double a month before our stay, we were assured of the change. Upon arrival today we found out that the change was not made and had to fit 3 adults and 2 dogs in what is not advertised as their king rooms. "The room was clean. The staff was efficient and friendly. The complimentary breakfast choices were good and the eggs were cook perfectly. The problems were the road noise was all night long with little sound dampening from from the windows. The room cooler/air conditioner didn't seem to have a slow fan setting so the noise from it was also loud during the night. Therefore we didn't have a very restful night's sleep. "

"The staff at Best Western Corvallis was awesome and friendly. From the desk staff (Dana, Zodell and others) to the room cleaners (Isabel and Abraham), they answered all of our questions and took care of us during our stay. The rooms were comfortable where you could spread out on the sofa or on the bed. The breakfast was always hot and regardless of the time, you never felt like you were scraping the pans for that last serving. They kept it full even if it was five minutes to closing. ...

"The hotel was inexpensive, and the facilities are quite old. The housekeeping staff works hard to keep everything clean, but some areas need renovation. For example, the bathrooms need new grout, and the edges where the toilet meets the floor are old and cracked. During my stay, I also saw a cockroach on the bathroom floor, which I believe came from under the toilet. The breakfast was continental—cereal, milk, bagels, and coffee—nothing impressive. "advertised 1 queen but was actually a full. was scared to walk across the floor because it was falling through and sinking all over. the pillows were beyond used. like so far we felt the zipper when we laid on it flat. no life left whatsoever. the lopsided mattress was oddly comfortable l, either that or I was so tired and just fed up with the appearance... the smell. towels were super soft. customer service was phenomenal. I however wouldn't recommend staying here EVER. yuck. "

"The property is older and doesn't have some of the perks people have become accustomed to. It was clean and well kept. If all you need is a place to sleep and get cleaned up in the morning, it's great."
