"Accommodations"

"Beautifully decorated, very Victorian. Rather like staying in a museum. Mattress was comfortable. Very clean. Front desk check in was lovely. Those were the good bits. Unfortunately, the air conditioning unit in the room was horrifically noisy, to the point where we had to turn it off halfway through the night and open the windows instead. To get any kind of breeze, we also had to open the blinds, which meant that the bright exterior lights that stayed in all night lit our room up like...

"Breakfast was great. Michel was a very kind, gracious host. Unfortunately we cut our stay short due to the amount of smoke that we couldn’t escape. We couldn’t open windows due to no screens and did leave a day early. Our clothes a d their towels smelled like smoke. We wish we could have stayed the whole time but we just couldn’t. "
