The breakfast was good, and the rooms were nice, clean, and comfortable. However, the noise was a downside and made it difficult to fully enjoy the stay. Unfortunately, the male staff member we interacted with was rude and could have been more polite and welcoming.

Paper thin walls. Room looked clean. However, bare feet became black when walking on floor. Air conditioning was loud. Fridge was loud too. Metal bed that you couldn’t get too close without kicking panel underneath box springs. Over priced, no pool. Decent breakfast included.

For the price, this hotel is above average, but the Expedia photos set our expectations much higher. The exterior looks more like a motel, and when we arrived, we felt misled by how different it looked from the listing. The rooms are nice, but the beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were poor. The food was average, breakfast options were limited, and parking could be a hassle. The pool was disappointing, too—don’t bother packing your swim trunks. The highlight was the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. Without them, this would have been a one-star review.

This motel is less expensive than many in the area and on that basis is a very good value. It’s basic motel like property but room was updated and clean and felt safe. Location was great close to Monterey attractions and short distance from Carmel. Nothing fancy so if that’s what you need then this is a good option.
