Loved this cute hotel. Very cozy, a lot of trees and plants around and on the property. Inside of the room is very cozy too, we had fireplace and the room was very clean and we felt so comfortable to stay there.

Nice and cozy spot. Room was clean. Fireplace was easy to use. All of the staff were very friendly. It was within walking distance from everything. And they accommodate dogs! Definitely would stay here again!

The second guest services man was helpful and changed our room due to terrible noise and musty smell in the first room. He was very helpful. This hotel needs a HUGE remodel however. It is old, dated and the locks on the rooms are very antiquated. The shower/tub in the larger suite was odd and claustrophobic. I’m sorry but I would never stay here again.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our girls weekend away. It was within walking distance of pretty much everything. I would absolutely stay here again! The one challenge was the parking. They do not have enough spots in the lot, so some guests have to find parking in the neighborhood. Depending on the time that you arrive finding street parking can be a bit of a challenge.

The staff and property were great. The walk ability into town was perfect. However I do feel like no assigned parking in a small town such as Carmel should be mentioned before a stay. We did go on a busy holiday weekend but the parking, especially on our arrival was very difficult. I wasn't sure if we were going to be able to find any at first, then finally we did.

Loved the location, the privacy, the quiet courtyard. Room was perfect for 2 with one dog. Bed and pillows were comfy. Easy walking distance to pet friendly breakfast, lunch, and dinner places, plus all of downtown. The beach (off leash) was a bit further, easy to get to, but a bit of a walk back up.

All the inns in Carmel are converted motels - do lower your expectations to start with. This one in particular was so old the walls were paper thin and construction was happening across the street and we stayed in a unit on the corner of an intersection- so we got zero sleep most of the night. There were cobwebs in the corner of the room, no AC- so you have to open the windows- letting in more noise. The bathroom is tiny tiny tiny and old pink tile. Not sure there’s a better option in town but this wasn’t it. It was a close walk to town and the popular hogs breath restaurant. Parking was also tiny- very small spots to hold about 8 cars.

We loved our stay here! Inge at the front desk was so kind and helpful. She gave us all the information we needed for parking and our stay, making it such welcoming experience when we arrived. Parking lot is small, but there are street parking spots around that have no time limit that were easy to access and find. The rooms are quaint, clean, and cozy. The fireplace is such a great touch and we loved using it every night. It is easy to light and has instructions. Free coffee in our room was also a nice touch! The grounds are also beautiful. The Inn is located in the perfect location. Only a 15 minute walk to the beach, walking distance to all the restaurants and shops of Downtown Carmel, and peaceful and quiet at night. We cannot wait to stay here again!

The hotel gave us a family friendly, tranquil vibe the whole time that we stayed for our three day vacation. The location was perfect if you want walkable to restaurants and convenience store. It has a quaint cottage feel, the rooms are big, clean, and staff are friendly. Will come back here again and will recommend it our family and friends.
