What hidden Gem, we loved our stay here. The rooms were spacious and quiet, the shower had decent water pressure and the beds were comfortable. On checking in Randall was really helpful in helping us with understand the facilities and places around the town that we could visit and dine at. Each morning breakfast is delivered to your room based on choices you make at checkin at a time you specify, which is a nice touch after having buffet style breakfasts in other hotels.
There's a courtyard with a firepit and chairs, you can also purchase beer / wine and pre mixed cocktails from reception, which were very reasonably priced.
The location is great too, very close to ocean view, so we didn't use the car while we were here other than the 20 min drive into Monterey.
One tip I would pass on to people staying here, on arrival the sign for parking was a little confusing, but you simply pull into the yard downhill from the hotel, there is a signpost for it, but we missed it first time around and had to loop round on the steep hills
