Great experience here. Only reason for the 4 star overall was because the price is high for what you get, the free breakfast was very limited due to the season we went and the jacuzzi’s were under maintenance so couldn’t be used.

Lovely hotel, great location and fantastic staff. The only thing that let's it down are the rooms which are a little basic and have very little sound insulation so we could here everything in the bar at night or kids making noise next door or as soon as staff were walking early morning. Other than that a great location, decent breakfast, lovely pool and bar area and super helpful and friendly staff.

We love to stay at Poco a Poco. We really appreciate the hot tub and the pool. The breakfast is fantastic and has great viewing for a variety of birds that seem to frequent the area. Its a good location for us as well with close access to the park and grocery store.

This hotel has the coolest pool and hot tub set up. The pool is covered and very warm. It includes a swim up bar with a giant TV beside it. We watched one of the world cup games while swimming. It was raining the whole time, but with the pool having a cover over the top we had a comforable afternoon. The nature walk on property is also lovely!

We loved this hotel. The location was brilliant the pool area was lovely - the online photos don’t do it justice. Breakfast was the best we had in Costa Rica and it was just a really great hotel with such a chilled vibe. It has its own short trail which we saw a decent amount of wildlife on. So many beautiful birds in this area.

The grounds were really nice. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The nature walk behind the hotel was nice with tropical plants, hummingbirds, butterflies and we even saw a coatimundi. The pool bar had great ambiance. Bathroom could have used a bit more counter space but it was perfectly serviceable. Room was basic but clean. Right across the street was a small mall with a grocery store, several restaurants, bank and shopping. The included breakfast buffet was really nice.

Clean, comfortable accommodation with helpful staff. Delicious, healthy, freshly prepared breakfast with friendly attendants. Well kept grounds boasting a stunning terraced culinary herb garden, including the most aromatic shrubs in a small space. A little bit of paradise nestled in the cool hills of Monteverde. I would definitely recommend the Poco a Poco Hotel and Spa, and I absolutely plan to go back.
