The only positive part of my stay was the receptionist, who was very friendly and helpful. The renovations looked okay, but everything else was extremely disappointing.
The hotel advertised complimentary breakfast, which was one of the main reasons I booked, only to discover it wasn’t available due to renovations. The shower was barely lukewarm, and there wasn’t even a shelf to put my shampoo, conditioner, or other shower essentials. The microwave didn’t work, and I had to wait approximately 45 minutes just to heat up my food. I also found it very strange that I had to sign into my personal Walmart account just to watch television!
After a long day of working and traveling, all I wanted was a hot shower, a warm meal, a good night’s sleep, and the breakfast I was promised. Instead, I dealt with one inconvenience after another.
What made everything worse was that despite paying over $200 for one night and not receiving the advertised amenities, they refused to provide even a partial refund. The lack of accountability and customer satisfaction was incredibly disappointing.
A friendly receptionist and decent renovations don’t make up for the lack of basic amenities. For over $200 a night, I expected much better. I would NOT recommend this hotel and certainly won’t be returning. HORRIBLE experience!
