Great budget value. Excellent location. Not fancy but we had a window to the street with a beautiful iron railing. Exactly what we needed. If I was going to stay for longer I might have looked for better room decor but for one night it was ideal.

The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, gave me a room upgrade and advice about what to see in the city. The mattress in the room had a strange slant to it but still comfortable. The location is fantastic, 5 minutes walk from the train station and another 5 minutes walk to multiple restaurants and the Comedie tram station and center of the city. I would definitely stay here again.

The property condition is a little old and the window gave no view and actually no safe escape in the case of fire either. The place is quiet and the AC works well. Location is very close to the train station and quite close to place de la comédie.

Location is terrible. GPS takes you to a post in the middle of the road that can only be lowered by calling Hotel, we did this several times with no help. Finally gave up and went to local Holiday Inn with much better location. Sent email requesting refund since we were not able to stay there and was told against their policy. see below from hotel. I tried all afternoon to answer you on the phone , and I opened the post in the middle of the road 4 times ! We can't refund you anything , sorry. If you wanna cancel the reservation, you can but we can't refund, the director is strict about this. Thanks.

Hotel overpriced without a/c, i booked superior room and i got room with big bed and 2 beds like in military casern. I don’t recommend at all this place

Insecure hotel.

I did not stay in this hotel. Once I saw the room I instantly decided NOT to stay - it was nothing like described, it was clean I guess, but did not have the features from the advertisement. Also, two hotel associates entered the room with their own key without knocking before entering. I felt insecure at this hotel. Did not ask for a refund, just checked out.

Beware of google map, hotel at pedestrian zone

One block from Place Comedie, in a quiet area by a pedestrian/car tunnel. Building dated, but room newly renovated with small fridge (no freezer compartment), nice shower, air-con, table and TV. Due to the age of the building, the sound insulation is not great, if your neighbour is too loud, you might hear them. Bed is not the most comfortable, but ok. For one night stay at such a location and what we get from the hotel, we think the price is very very good. This area is now a pedestrian area, so if you call the hotel, they are supposed to lower the metal bars to let you enter the tunnel and reach their front door for unloading the luggage. Google map will only bring you until the front of the tunnel with metal barriers, right beside of Eurostar Hotel (or some name by Euro xxx -- i don't remember well). If you don't have that many luggage, just bring your luggage from there and walk through the tunnel. It is like 3 min. Hotel affiliated parking is 4-5 min walk from the hotel at the non-pedestrian area. It is 15 euros per day, else it is 35 euros.

Everything was good except the AC ! They said they had someone look at it 2 weeks ago and nevef came back ! Dont believe that...If you run a small hotel you fix it ! Its not like the rooms are cheap. Save money on something else, not the comfort for the guests wher you get your income from.
