The staff was very helpful, and the simple breakfast was sufficient (maybe they could offer some fruit or yogurt). This is a 2-star hotel, so be aware. The neighborhood is mostly low-rent businesses, but it appears safe. A block or two away is one of Montreal's LGBTQ+ areas, for those interested.

The room had good space with a big bed very confortable, close to Papineu Metro station, the bedroom and the room was clean, the AC was working good, fridge did not work due to a problem with the socket wallet close to the fridge, the staff was professional and kind with me, the breakfast need to add more protein because there was too much bread in overall the place met my expectation, thank you

朝食付きであったはずなのに無かった。 デポジット💲200取られた。 隣の部屋の声丸聞こえで深夜までやかましい。早朝にドアノックされ不審な人物が知り合いだと尋ねてきた。知り合いなど居ない。

I felt nostalgic on that hotel and reminded me of the old french hotels with the old tv. It’s very minimalistic and budget friendly.

This is best hotel to stay if want to enjoy the Village. Conveniently located, cold air conditioner, hot shower, comfy bed, near three Metro stops, and nicest staff. Any visit I come up this is where I stay now.

The place was okay, I didn’t really like how old the place and room was. It’s not that clean but it does the job. I wouldn’t go back stay again second time. I couldn’t even sleep because the room didn’t feel that good

Get what you pay for

I know what to expect when I stay here, a comfortable bed, a shower and washroom. I’m not there to spend time in the room - Montreal has lots to offer and keep you busy 24hrs. So if you’re looking for a place to crash and not break the bank, then Hotel Ste-Catherine is the choice.
