"Nice hotel/conference centre, it was quite quiet on our visit and we barely saw anyone else which was strange. My biggest complaint was that the WiFi (and hence smart tv) did not work in the room, and we were told that was just how it was. "Value for money? Not at all. No restaurant at weekends. Bar staffed by receptionist. Poor choice of beers. You have to pay for the car park for no obvious reason. Corridor painted black. In the room, the only lightswitch was by the bed so coming in when it was dark was like pinning the tail on the donkey. It took 15 minutes to work out how to use the tv control. Another 15 minutes to work out the shower which had a dangerously slippery surface. Breakfast was way too expensive. That might cover it but there may be more."
