"Beautiful building in a fantastic location. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are large and comfortable. However, the overall cleanliness could be improved — the carpets and some furniture surfaces did not seem thoroughly cleaned, which was a bit disappointing. There is a good independent restaurant in the building, although the service was quite slow. The fitness room is rather limited and could also use some improvement. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but with better attention to cleanliness and maintenance, the experience could be much better."

"Staff were very attentive, room was beautiful and very spacious with all amenities needed. The roll top bath was the icing on the cake. Breakfast was very tasty and a reasonable price."

"On arrival, we were not told what breakfast times were or where we could get breakfast. We asked about parking which we had paid extra for in our room to be told it was free at weekends anyway. We had paid for pool access on the room but were not told of where this was or how to access it. As it turns out, the pool and gym are well attended by locals and we barely got a chance to go but a timetable would have been helpful. Food was excellent in the pub and grill as well as at breakfast. We paid for extras in the room such as Nespresso machine, water and sweet treat. We only got one biscuit and upon asking for a refresh after night one, they did not top up the water nor did they top up the sweet treat. Shower was amazing as was the the king size bed. Great location."

"Very dated needs refurbished. Room was dirty - dusty , small bit of rubbish in areas obviously not looked at - behind curtains & where spare reels were. Dried blood on bathroom wall Cracked bathroom sink Towel ring hanging off. Toilets in main restaurant were dirty Staff at desk helpful Great location shame money not being spent to keep it clean , presentable & nice"

"The hotel hotel was nice, the room was more than adequate and the staff were great, my only complaint was it was close to a bar/club and you could hear people shouting and laughing on the street and the faint thump of music."
