"Rooms were clean, linens were clean, although some of the towels were getting a little thin and needed replacing. The continental breakfast was a little sparce, standard fare, but on a Sunday morning when the Mormon town of Blanding almost completely shuts down, one is grateful for a cup of coffee and a little bite to eat (although there is a nice food station at the nearby Mavrick gas station). "Abajo Lodge was a surprising wonderful place. The rooms were spacious, the bed was very comfortable and the bedding luxurious. It looked as if there is a pool but we didn't need that. Breakfast would have been nice but I don't think there was a room that could accommodate that. Overall we were very pleasantly surprised and will book again if our travels take us through Monticello."
