"Desert Rose was an ideal stop between Colorado and Arizona. The property presents well from the exterior with some construction alongside. Front desk staff were welcoming and answered questions. No direction or information on amenities was offered. Room was on the upper floor as requested - elevators are not available. Room was clean and well provisioned. Furniture is very old with most of the finishing either rubbed or peeled off. A simple refinishing or oiling would do well to preserve...

"The door had air cracks around it and the deadbolt did not lock. I didn't feel unsafe because it's such a small rural area, but I'm glad I wasn't alone. Parking is great - 20 feet from our room. It wasn't necessary to use the heat or the A/C so I'm not sure if they work well."

"It didn’t look like much from the outside, but we were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and comfort of the inside. Very nice!"

"There was only one washer and dryer for the entire hotel. Dryer was slow to dry requiring several rounds. There was a line up to use. Could have been better. Pricing was high comparatively."

"All was good. The only criticism I would have is that when calling the hotel's primary (and suggested by staff) phone # just before check-in time I got voicemail and no prompt return call. Called again about a half hr later and got a person but in my view there should be someone monitoring this line more closely and either answering or returning calls immediately, especially around check-in time."

"Be aware, they do not have Wi-Fi!! And, your email from Expedia will tell you to go to the Hampton Inn. They are not the same place."

"This is an absolute gem of a cabin! We loved our stop here while visiting Monument Valley. Our cabin was adorable with comfy beds and a nice living space. We used the bbq outside and cooked on the hot plate as there is a full kitchen minus the stove. Note there is no grocery store in Bluff but there is a convenience store with staples for groceries. This was a quiet and beautiful place to stay with a family and budget friendly….. would highly recommend "

"You get what you pay for. They were really prompt about getting us checked in so late. The room smelled funny, but was clean enough. The maid started coming by at 9am and even though checkout wasn't til 11, stated on their website, they seemed annoyed that we weren't gone yet but weren't rude, just kept coming back every 15-20m until we left."
