"We enjoyed our stay at Tea Plant, with a very spacious room offering a lovely view — thank you again for the upgrade. Dinner was also good and generous. However, the hotel really needs some refurbishment (leaks, worn furniture), and the staff could be a bit more professional"

"A very nice property although a bit run down, need of update including furnitures, we arrived late in the evening and found it very cold room we had to turn electric fire on and left it on right through the night, the food is average, no local shops near by, so you will need tuk tuk, staff are great, friendly and very helpful. "The hotel was modern, clean, room spacious and decorated very nicely. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel very central and can walk to main sights. Only issue we had was being locked in at night - glass front doors tied together with a bike chain lock! Although security were outside, I feel this was a concern if there was a fire and felt uncomfortable with this. Otherwise would recommend"

"Overall I am quite happy with my stay. Read about the water pressure problem in the reviews and was a little apprehensive at first. Turns out the water pressure was very good, at least in the 2 rooms my and my friend were staying in. Some room for improvement in the administration but I'm sure it will be better the next time I visit the hotel. I'll likely stay again when I come to the area again. "
