"What a lovely , calm , mellow gem of a place . A very relaxing and wonderful stay . We loved the actual building and quiet garden . Rooms were spacious / very comfortable and clean. Staff were lovely . Excellent breakfast - and dinner too .
We will definitely return ."

"Everything else was excellent, but we were initially given a room where the air conditioning wasn't working during the heatwave. They obviously knew that when I reported the issue. I was told the hotel was fully booked and that we couldn't change rooms. Instead, they sent two fans to our room. As the windows couldn't be opened, the room was unbearably hot, and there was no way we could stay there.

"Big room with very comfy bed. Breakfast was excellent. The only gripe we have is how poor the Internet was. Little reception so tried to use the hotel WiFi- which was completely ineffective"

"The absence of Air conditioning made sleeping impossible. Arguably the worst sleeping experience I’ve had since I made the mistake of not upgrading to air conditioning on holiday in Greece in the early 90’s. Horrific hotel and should be avoided at all costs (during the warmer months)"
