"It was a hotel. Fairly quiet and a good breakfast."

"Only one staff for entire building and one woman staffer at night is concerning. Several guests that were from a company were in a pickup by the sliding door barbecuing food and drinking. They weren’t loud but who barbecues where guests need to temporarily park to check in for their room. Totally unacceptable. Tv didn’t work and the 3rd night we had to complain about upstairs noise. Super disappointed!!! We came to visit family in Torrington and this experience wasn’t pleasant"

"This hotel has truly surpassed our expectations! It is a beautiful hotel furnished and accessorized with the beauty of the French baroque time period. So very well thought out right down to every detail. We loved our conversations with Stephanie and it was a pleasure all around. Savannah was so helpful in finding us a quiet area to relax and feel quite at home. We met Harold at the end of our stay and we had a quick and enlightening conversation. This will be our favorite place from now on...

"Stayed almost a week. Clean room, good breakfast. Lots of stuff near by."

"We are travelling with our pet dog, and Monument Inn and Suites has pet friendly rooms. The room was a suite with a little kitchenette. Everything was clean and roomy. I ate a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs with cheese and salsa. There was a park near the property where we could walk our good boy. Bonus: the Scott's Bluff Monument was about a 5 minute drive away. Grocery store in walking distance."

"Room was clean but the furniture was damaged and worn, should be replaced. Breakfast was as promised. Bed was comfortable but the AC was way to close to the bed and constantly going on and off and kept me awake a lot of the night."

"First of all....the price on Expedia was a lot more that the hotel would have charged on their website or if calling them for a reservation. The room was ok. The curtains wouldn't close due to the closing wand was broken, there was hair in the shower, on the vanity and after wearing socks in the room, the floor clearly hadn't been mopped for some time. The hotel was noisy and the breakfast was a joke. I wouldn't recommend this hotel."

"I don’t know if this hotel was actually open or not. It looked like it was either being demolished or renovated, it was hard to tell. There was a desk I assumed was for check in but after numerous attempts to check in & to find an employee without success I left and got a room at another hotel. I’m never going to pay in advance again!!!"

"Toilet wouldn’t flush, property was disgustingly filthy and unsafe. Canceled our stay and went elsewhere"
