"Nice hotel"

"Historical building with lots of character, lobby fireplace was warming on a rainy day. The first floor lobby and dining rooms are very dark, great atmosphere but bring a little flashlight. Met a lot of nice people during our stay. The welcoming scotch was fantastic. We heard the breakfast was minimal. It was not, filled with all kinds of homemade apple strudel, mushroom quiche, chocolate pastries, many other delicious sweet muffins, etc."

"This was the best hotel experience I've ever had and I have done a lot of them. The hotel has beautiful views of open fields as you pull up. The hotel itself is impressive, all the staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The room was not just clean but was more like a home than a hotel room. The bed faced the view from the window instead of just a wall. The couch was more of what you would have in your home. The breakfast was excellent they even had the Nutella that I love ❤️ I...

"Bathtub was dirty. Ceiling was damaged. Not much to choose from for breakfast, cereal, oj and yogurt. Bed was fine and staff were nice."

"I want to give this quaint hotel five stars. The place is beautiful, the staff are super friendly and helpful and professional! The restaurant was Devine - top notch food and spirits! It’s just that it’s not restful. We were up until the staff were done for the night, then other guests filtered in making their own racket. It’s an old house - so it’s truly not meant or designed to be sound-proof. Outside of the disruptions, this was a fantastic stay!"

"The price was a little high We actually stayed two nights after thinking we only had an overnight planned. The first night we lucked into the room w the jet tub. While an up charge if was worth the expense do the wife to chill and enjoy."

"Everything about the property and staff was wonderful. If I have one negative thing to add is we didn't care for the bedding. The sheets weren't soft and the pillows were pretty much flat and uncomfortable with no support. Other than that the place was great. Albeit everything is very expensive."

"This hotel is located across the street from turning stone. We went to turning stone to golf and have fun. The shuttle service was excellent! We never waited more than 5 minutes. The staff was great and informative! The breakfast was very good as well. AND we found a lovely bistro about a minute west of the hotel where the food was great and we could fo a wine tasting."
