"Staff at this hotel were very pleasant and our stay was better than expected. We originally thought they only offered a continental breakfast - that was wrong! They had a hot fresh breakfast every day and the food was excellent! There was one person working breakfast and she never let anything run out despite how many people were eating. They left fruit and cereal out all day so you can have some if you wanted. I loved this for my picky child who only wanted cereal to eat. We have never stayed at an AmericInn before and were prepared to be disappointed, needless to say we were not disappointed at all. Our only set back were the rooms were a little on the smaller side for the 4 of us but we figured it out and our stay was absolutely perfect! The water pressure in the shower was amazing! If we are in the area again we will choose this hotel. This particular trip brought us to Stevens Point due to a soccer tournament. To close - excellent, excellent, excellent customer service! Keep up the great work! "

"Traveling for work. Great stay. Super clean and breakfast was really good. Everything is updated and modern. Towels are super soft as well as the bed and bedding, tv and air conditioner was great. Overall stay is worth it. Going to book here more often from now on."

"Room was clean and neat. Big room plenty of room to move around. Jacuzzi style tub but didn't get a chance to use it. Very helpful staff and manager helped us with an issue we had with our reservation with ease. I'd definitely recommend anyone to stay here. Location was great close to all shops and convenience stores in downtown."

"This property is extremely outdated. We had wood on our windows with a portable air conditioner taking up space in the room. The pool was dirty with clumps of hair on the pool bottom. The whirlpool was broken during our stay, but it was disgusting looking anyway. It looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Vending machines not in working order. Hotel manager actually said "I'm sorry those machines are neglected, we prefer you use the hotel store". Beds were uncomfortable and the room was in rough shape. Walls and ceiling was significantly cracked and showed the hotel's aage.The advertised chefs prepared breakfast was a room with a self serve make your own waffle machine and some questionable hot eggs, bacon and potatoes. For the price we paid for the room I expected a much better experience. I will not return to this place."
