"Our suite, Room 2. on the second floor was incredibly spacious. The sleeping area was huge with a street view with a side view of the Domo and Baptistry. The bathroom was nice with a relaxing rain shower. My wife particularly enjoyed the mini kitchen on the side of the room with hot water kettle and refrigerator. The staff was very welcoming and gave wonderful service. Our maid did an excellent job cleaning our room. Some street noise with the windows open, but as soon as you close them, nice...

A former hunting lodge 15 mins outside of Bologna, set in rolling hills and accessed through miles of gravel driveways interspersed with iron gates, the Palazzo is full of sloping corridors, staggered steps, grand rooms and antique furniture, with bookcases bulging with texts from the 1800s.
