"Beautiful part of the state, the simplicity of the accommodation blended with the beautiful countryside. The sauna was a treat, and food at Maydena Eats was delicious. WiFi instructions were wrong (maybe outdated?) and shower floors and bedroom corners had been overlooked— fixable things. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Check-in was confusing, as there was no one at reception on arrival. When I called the provided number, I was instructed to open a locked room that was already occupied by another guest, which was quite concerning. There were also no clear instructions provided for the check-out process. Since my stay, I have been receiving emails stating that payment has not been made. This is incorrect, as I paid in full at the time of booking and have receipts to confirm this."

"Well located to Mt Fields. It is a Large 2 BR even if we only needed 1. Very dated, poorly maintained, and dirty. Kitchen cabinets and cutlery drawer dirty. We had to wash dishes we were going to use. We decided not to cook so as not to have to wash everything. There was only one wine glass and when my partner washed it, he cut his hand and we had to bandage it. "Quirkiness everywhere in this property. Very unique in you need to take the time to actually see everything. Good location to see Russell Falls and surroundings without having to travel in/out of Hobart. We stayed here after travelling the Central Highlands which is also stunning. "

"Parking and location were fine. Found 3 bugs in my room on different days which was gross. Main light in the bedroom didn’t work. Shower had mould in it. Previous guests toiletries were still in the room and you can tell that the bathroom had not been cleaned in years. Would not come back"

"Decent and reasonably clean hostel. But soap didn’t get refilled in the shared bathroom. Staff isn’t the warmest either. "

"Moss is well located in the waterside presinct, Salamanca so very convenient for exploring Hobart. It is however very noisy as a popular bar is located at it's floor level which pumps music throuout the rooms until late. This ruined ot for me. I would not recommend Moss for this reason"

"The best characteristic is it's location, which is superb. The underground carpark can be very full at times,and no reservations are accepted, which means you may not have a carpark which can be a major issue."

"Room was clean and comfortable. The USB ports did not work so I had to charge my devices in the common area. The pod door is loud and the pods are not soundproof, so people's movements can be heard constantly throughout the night. My pod (No. 10) was a lower one in the corner and it was quite difficult to enter and exit in between the wall and the upper pod ladder. It would be nice if the pod had a compartment to keep glasses/phone/anything fragile "
