"Staff needs to be more present in the pool area. Adults and kids climbing, obstructing, and jumping in the water slide. Guests swimming fully clothed or in underwear. Pitiful towels and not nearly enough of them. Paid over $300 for a room and it was dusty and very dated. We didn’t expect luxury but this place was pretty trashy."

It took far too long to get our breakfast, the kitchen seemed unable to meet the requests of the guests in an efficient manner & were running out of key ingredients. We asked for brown bread which they were out of, then it was sausage & bacon, then they couldn't find the decaf coffee, they were out of fruit, etc., etc. The key pads to the room would work one minute then not the next minute."

"I stayed at Orca Room - A lovely room with a small kitchenette and a bathroom. There was nicely scented shower gel and shampoo. The location is very quiet, right on the water. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs, as the rooms are a bit noisy. I was prepared, so everything was fine. Thank you."

"Lovely staff and a great location - an old and characterful building in a perfect location to enjoy St John’s. Unfortunately, roof seems to be leaking somewhere in the building and had a small ceiling cave in in my room. Staff were great and gave me a bucket to collect the water.. That aside, nice cozy room close to bars and restaurants"
