"First - we were told our Amenity Fee would be waived because upon arrival, we were told the rooftop pool was closed due to leaking. It was literally one of the only reasons I chose this hotel, and we were not made aware of this prior to our cancellation date. Sure enough, I should have checked the bill prior to leaving - no Amenity Fees were waived. Now the rest - you can tell the hotel was trying to update the rooms to make them more modern, but in the bathroom particularly, they failed...

"We booked this hotel because they had a junior suite room with a couch and the room itself was nice. I have no complaints there. The hotel though was not great. There was very limited “lobby” space and it didn’t seem like it was used at all. The restaurant was closed for renovation and the pool closed at 7 so if you wanted to hang out outside your room there were no real options. The gym was very limited and both ellipticals sounded broken. (Although they worked). Again - the room was good - but...

"Not a family friendly hotel though my family had a great time. Forgot that there are two clubs below. Couldn’t use the pool because of private party and pool times for kids to use were 8am-10am them 6pm-8pm. Otherwise a super cool hotel and great area."

"Biggest complaint was the restaurant. I went for breakfast and stood waiting for someone to seat me for about 15 minutes. Finally someone across the restaurant waived me Over and sat me. Took forever to get my food and coffee. Once I received my meal I never saw my waitress again. No warm up on my coffee. No check back to make sure everything was good. I saw her seat other customers and telling them it will be at least 10-15 minutes before someone can wait on them. I finally got up to...

"The location was perfect. Close to the 6, plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood. We stayed in the two bedroom suite and was plenty of space for everyone. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. It was quiet and beds were comfortable. The staff were so friendly and nice. We will definitely stay again when back in NYC."

"Great location and rooms have a beautiful view. Bedheads were dusty and sheets weren’t fitted to the bed properly meaning the mattress and quilt were exposed. Breakfast way too expensive and bar closed on Sunday and Monday, but overall a great stay. The view set the bar quite high!!"
