Mountain Center hotel guide. Extended Stay America hotel in Mountain Center, California

"The property was well maintained for the most part and staff friendly. The rooms were dated and our sheets were old but not the end of the world. The blow dryer didn’t work in our room and I asked for another one, while they responded quickly, they brought a blow dryer that didn’t work so I then had to ask again. Pool was insanely cold. The biggest issue was their inability to explain why they put 5 different preauthorizations on my credit card totaling almost $1,000.00 when I had prepaid for the hotel and only authorized the $100 incidental charge. It was somewhat annoying and still hope they all fall off so I do not have to dispute. Overall, it’s an average hotel and clean, also in a prime location. It is not worth the price we paid but understand the increase due to Stagecoach. Would consider staying again if I needed accommodations in the area and price was lower."

"Hotel entrance was a little disappointing at 1st , I had my 85 y/o mom with me and cldnt find direct and quick seating for her while I checked in, not seeing there was chairs and sitting behind on left side toward Starbucks , seating shld be close to check in ! She tried to sit in middle where there’s a bar but was told for guest/purchasing only? Room view/location was amazing! Bathroom needed some help as I seen some cracks in flooring that exposed some dark red/burgundy lines that looked like blood, as I thought did I cut myself self or did my mom bump into something in bathroom ? Not a good sanitary look especially in bathroom .. fish joint was delicious Boat ride not worth it , unless u have kids, elderly pple with you.. they wld be excited! Century located by big name brand outlet mall within 30min “designer names” outside of Nike/adidas. Staff was nice had wheelchair readily avail as some places don’t at hotels! Parking garage needs help but I’m 100% sure they know that ? It’s dark and hard to park in/out. Or turn around. Still worth it the pools are great with dj !"

"Hotel stay itself was great. The restaurant on-site served decent food. However, the hours for the kids' slide were too short, ending at 5 pm when families may want to use that feature in the evening after a day of activities. Also, the Hilton's vacation timeshare group got ahold of us and asked us to participate in a presentation. We chose a 9 am time slot on our last day there. Upon arrival, they had no record of us, didn't give us any of the promotions offered over the phone, and since we didn't have any other time to attend their presentation, basically just cancelled us. It messed up our whole morning because we could've planned other things to do and some of those other activities couldn't happen since we had blocked off time for Hilton. Very unprofessional and left us with negative impression at the end of our stay, despite the hotel itself being great."

"Stayed in a suite for Coachella. The size of the room was fantastic and the bathroom was perfect for three people to get ready. Took our daughter for a full circle Coachella moment, but we want to come back with our son too. Just for a more laid-back vacay. The grounds were so relaxing and beautiful during the day and at night."
