"Exceptionally clean! All public areas and rooms were spotless. Kudos to the housekeeping staff! ALL staff were very helpful, gladly providing anything we asked for and offering great restaurant suggestion in nearby Dallas NC that could easily accommodate our 6 adults and 2 high chair babies. The staff here must be well trained and well managed: they were all very friendly and seemed to genuinely like their jobs. THAT really makes for a good customer experience!"

"Went to eat at wood lodge fire grill. Took at least 45 minutes to get 1 alcoholic beverage and ordered the seasonal brownie and ice cream stack. We took the food to the room and had to microwave the frozen brownies and the 2 scoops of chocolate sauce. Normally I would not have an issue but they were not very busy and the girl who took our order had to go check on it 3 different times. Then eventually went back there and I assume made it herself. "Above average breakfast and very nice staff.
However…. 1. The parking garage situation was a mess. Stunningly inefficient. 2. There aren’t stairs you can use to go up to your room so there was always a line to use the elevator. 3. The shades were broken in the room so we could get it dark at night not open up fully to bring light in the morning."
