"Someone had spilled burnt wood/charcoal (from what?) just outside my rooms door and the major pieces were mostly picked up but not vacuumed during my stay. My other concern was that I could not figure out how to get consistently warm water to take a shower. I don't think the listing prepared me for such a large facility I was thinking it would be more quaint so indications to the vast size would have help me make an informed decision. ( I am not a resort skier )"

"The location and size of the room was very nice but there were a lot of gnats in our room and a crazy amount of cockroaches outside our room at night. I wish the windows had curtains. "We really liked the location and the cabin was really nice. The website made it look like the property was next to the lake but there was a road in between. The other small issue is that it distinctly stated there was a coffee pot in the room but we didn’t find one. The store was very nice and pretty well stocked and it was a pleasure talking with people who ran the place."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Grand Lodge Traverse condo. The pet-friendly setup and free shuttle into town were huge perks. "Fun little place to stay. Beds were a little hard but worked for the night. Everything was clean inside. The grounds are bad though. There are stickers and weeds everywhere. My grandson got tons of stickers in his favorite blanket and we will have to throw it away. The blanket cost as much as a night stay. Pretty sad kid. A bit of weed maintenance and yard work would make this a great place to stay."
