"Bar closes at 11pm. Refused me service from 10.40pm but continued serving others. And no, I was not intoxicated. I had been told the bar was closing evidently. The latecomers had not. They were still there when I returned from the local pub. You are supposed to aspire to something adult, young lady (bar manager) and being a Karen is not being adult."

"Awesome location and a beautiful hotel. The rooms are large, well-appointed, and very relaxing. I think this is one of the best parts of Brisbane, and everything is pretty close by. Hotel staff were wonderful and extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the local amenities. I highly recommend it"

"We loved this property! It was in a fantastic central location, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"The property was in an ideal location to cater for an upcoming surgery at nearby hospital. The spa bath was more of an inconvenience, given we had elderly family who found it almost impossible to access. The room was clean enough although kitchen utensils could do with a really good clean. Staff friendly and helpful, especially with the logistics of parking which is awkward on check out. Great food outlets and other retailers nearby. We would use again."

"Hotel is in good location. Front rooms facing Brunswick St are a little noisy. Paid extra for a balcony room which was a mistake. It was on the first floor with a pretty grim outlook. Room also seemed to smell a bit which may have been from previous guests smoking on the balcony. Otherwise the hotel was okay."

"The hotel is unique. it is luxurious yet very whimsical. Our room was spacious, well appointed and very quirky. Walking in made me smile. The view of the river and the skyline of Brisbane was fantastic and the last thing I saw before falling asleep every night. However, I found the hallways to be very dark and depressing as the walls were painted black. It did not however impacted my experience and enjoyment. The breakfast, which was included in our rate, was the best we had in this 3 weeks...

"Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The King bed was really comfortable. All staff members were very polite, friendly and more than helpful to make our stay a ‘bit of luxury’. We will definitely be staying there again."

"The room was great. Clean and comfortable. There couldn’t be a better location. We walked to the ferry daily and the huge mall with a full grocery store, plenty of food options, and lots of opportunities for shopping. The one thing that was ridiculous was parking. There isn’t any! You pay to park at a lot around the block in addition to what you already paid for the room."
