"On the main road through Aviemore . Not noisy and enough parking off road. Room number one is very small with just enough room to manoeuvre around double bed. Small bathroom with shower. Bathroom all in black with small spotlights. This room was very disappointing as it was so small. Only a kettle and sink, no toaster. Not enough room for two adults and two dogs. "We had a lovely short stay at Macbeth’s Hillock. The cottage was clean, cosy and comfortable, with everything we needed. We mainly stayed there overnight while travelling, but I also cooked dinner there, which worked very well. The location is peaceful, close to local sights, and right next to a farm with beautiful sheep, which made the stay feel even more charming. A very pleasant place for our short stay."
