"Great stay. Staff were friendly and welcoming at check in - but we aware of the relatively short check in window. The room was a great size and very comfortable. There was no noise from the functions downstairs. Free coffee machines were a nice perk, plus the drink vouchers given to us at check in. Easy and plentiful parking. Easy access to Tea Tree Plaza."

"What a beautiful hotel, we had a fantastic stay. Exactly what you want in a lovely historic old hotel in a fantastic location in the Adelaide Hills. Beautifully restored, fireplaces galore, great welcoming bar and elegant dining room with fabulous wine room. Couldn’t fault the hotel, our room was so cosy and comfortable, gorgeous large marble bathroom and balcony (Tiers room). Good provisions provided for continental breakfast and snacks, great location, short drive up to Mount lofty lookout...

"We loved our stay at Mt Lofty House. Highly recommend the daily history tour at 4.30pm. All staff were really friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Our room was divine. A tip, the cookies are the best. There’s a jar left out and topped up daily but it’s a bit of a secret. We dined at Martha’s and after a really busy day, loved the easy going nature of this restaurant. We also had the 7 course degustation menu at Hardys Veranda another night. I was sent to the wrong room upon checkin, my code wasn't working, so had to ring to find out why only to be told wrong room.
