Location: You cannot beat the location. It’s an easy walk to all of Cranmore’s amenities—night tubing, fireworks, activities, everything. Being able to park once and walk everywhere was such a win, especially with a child.
Customer Service (the real standout):
From the moment we checked in, the service was exceptional. The front desk attendant asked for my last name and immediately referred to me by my first name—as if they were expecting me. It sounds small, but it felt warm, personal, and welcoming.
Every single interaction after that was just as lovely: Friendly, upbeat staff, Constantly sharing info about s’mores, fire pits, and amenities, Announcing when cookies were coming out (yes please), Pleasant and kind every time I walked past the desk. At this stage in my life, customer service is king, and this place nailed it.
Amenities: Fire pits with s’mores, Indoor pool and outdoor hot tub (both great), Bar on site (slower service, but understandable—we were on vacation and they were busy), Continental breakfast with waffles—simple, cozy, and satisfying. Everything felt designed for comfort and ease.
The Small Issues (handled beautifully):
There were a few minor hiccups: No extra sheets, blanket, or pillows initially (we packed anyway, so not a dealbreaker). The pool area and path to the outdoor hot tub were very slippery/icy, something to be careful about; Wi-Fi didn’t work for us at all (couldn’t text or email, almost like we were jammed—but honestly we were on vacation)"
