"Schöner Gasthof. Wir haben 5 Nächte dort verbracht und es hat uns gut gefallen. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war modernisiert und hat uns gut gefallen. Bei Problemen wurde immer geholfen. Das Frühstück hatte alles was man braucht. Hinter dem Hotel gab es kostenlose Parkplätze. Und mit der Gästekarte konnte man kostenlos mit dem Bus Richtung Interlaken fahren. Gerne wieder."

"Good location , but on a very very noisy rail / bus thoroughfare right outside window , one night at 3am grinding the rail tracks for 1 hr for maintenance, hotel said not told that was going to happen . Room very dusty , dust & fluff on floors. Can’t leave windows / doors open due to smell of cigarette smoke coming through . Stuffy at night as needed to keep doors closed as you can’t sleep with outside noise on road till late hours and trams . Pillows way to soft msg as well sleep straight on...

"It was a very nice room and a very clean hotel. However, be aware that there’s a transparent shower window into the bedroom so if you are not traveling with your spouse or partner, you might want to consider that. It’s somewhat opaque at the bottom but still awkward. I asked the front desk if there were any other room rooms and she said all the rooms are the same. Otherwise, the price was great great staff great hotel."

"Pillows were not the best. We were given the wrong time for breakfast at check in and so missed it the first day. Otherwise very good stay. Handy for IIHF hockey games at BCF Arena and close to transit (bus)."

We took advantage of the Thun area card at the Oberhofen castle, boating on Lake Thun, and visiting StBeatus Cave & waterfall, and Panoramabrücke in Sigriswil. Negative: for us, nothing!
