"The bedding, a huge duvet, was heavy and very hot for sleeping in a room with barely adequate air conditioning. The dense foam mattress only added to the heating. Ended up tearing the duvet apart and sleeping under the duvet cover. The main restaurant was closed for the summer (except for breakfast?) in an area with no nearby restaurants, The bar and grill was okay. The glass, swing door for the bathroom lacked privacy. The breakfast buffet was huge and good but very expensive."

"At a glance the hotel looked lovely and even though there was a queue, the check in process was smooth. Upon entering the bedroom there was stained carpets and a sewage smell coming from the bathroom. There was what looked like ketchup smeared above the mirror in the bedroom and stains in the carpet and the television did not work. They upgraded us and it was better but still not great and not value for money at all. The TV still didn’t work and we witnessed dirty cups being left to the front of...

"The biggest problem was our booking information or the hotel did not input it as when we arrived they had no information on us Lucky we had our receipt. They managed to give us a room with some adjusting. Staff were excellent - room needed some attention"

"I liked the option of drink vouchers if we pass on room cleaning. Location was great! We arrived later in the evening for dinner having been out all day and were able to enjoy a late meal on the patio."

"Totally inconsistent management. Checking in, the manager was courteous and extremely helpful. However, by the evening shift I stumbled on the judgemental, self righteous, 'I only assist those that look like me!', manageress from privilege palace. Simple requests for the WiFi password, or where to dispose of dirty towels were met with a side eye honed in delusions of entitlement. Pretty please, with bells on - money, and good service shouldn't have a colour!"
