"Nicole was great greeting me and providing information. The breakfast was excellent. I rated good on the room due to there being a slight odor. Not sure if from smoking. The beds, however, were as comfortable as a much more expensive hotel. I had a great night sleep and that was most important."

"There is no Quality in this Quality Inn. The pool has been "temporarily" closed since Sept. of 2025. Rug was very dirty. Breakfast was better at other places. Parking was nice it was right at the door. Too much late night traffic. Ice machine was broken had to walk to the next building to get ice Peeling paint in the bathroom. NO handicapped rooms available. Bedroom wall was scratched up, looks as if a dog did it."

"I travel a lot for business and this was an extremely clean property. I was hesitant, as in the past Red Roof Inns were not a place I would stay. This is an exception to the rule. The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. The room was very clean, smelled good, and had a comfortable bed and great AC. I would stay again."

"Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. "This is an awesome place to stay! We especially liked the automatic lights on the front porch, it's nice if you arrive after dark. The hosts were wonderful and got back to us quickly when we reached out. "
