"Location was good. Close to Mumbai Central and small shops.
Decent hotel compared to other hotels in the same area.
Room were a bit small. Bathroom was ok however I do not prefer Shower in a bath tub. There was hot water. The hotel needs to be renovated. Front foyer is very small and not much room to move when there is a lot of guest waiting around.
Be aware of the taxi drivers parked at the front of the hotel. Do not trust them. Take a Uber instead however if you do book a taxi driver...

"They sent me to a building which was under construction and a room where someone was clearly in it. I didn’t take the room cause it wasn’t safe and they still charged me. Hotels.com refuse to help. Don’t ever book this! "

"Taj hotel is very close to my memories of yesteryears. Love the property, staff and amenities. Still has the charm but the room facing city view was impacted by heavy construction work sounds till 11pm. It was very annoying, just what’s happening all over Mumbai- construction everywhere! Not the hotel problem but the exterior is unmanageable."

"The location is convenient, easy to get to everywhere. The train and metro stations are right there. A block away from marine drive. Some noise at night. The pillows are very uncomfortable, very bouncy, I hurtled my neck one night, and had to sleep on decorative pillows.the breakfast is good, you can order freshly made dosa, with potato, cheese or honey."
