Great location, minutes from transport and 15 walk from Marienplatz. Lots of shops around, luggage storage was great. Very patchy to non existent wifi (we were on the 5th floor). Lovely staff.

The hotel has improved from the last time I was there. The location is convenient for public transport. It is good for either overnight or 2 day stays. The bathroom taps are too low for the basin and should be lifted higher.

We would gladly return, but they need one more window shade panel to block out the bright lights from the street. It felt safe during the day, but less so at night. Location was fantastic, room was clean, staff were helpful and kind.

This hotel is close to the trains and city center. The staff were friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. It was a great place for a short visit with plenty of good food nearby.

Very good option to stay in Munich, considering that all citiesโ€™s hotels are very expensive . The most remarkable thing of this property is the location , very close to the all main citiesโ€™s attractions and very close to the central station as well . Staff is friendly. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Surroundings of the hotel are a little dirty and seems unsafe sometimes . WiFi connection is weak , I think they have to improve it . In general terms I consider this property good option to stay in Munich .

Close to the Main Train Station but in a construction area. Dirty streets and very crowded with a lot of foot traffic. Great breakfast! The air conditioner was insufficient. The staff was very friendly and courteous.

Friendly staff, very basic room, bathroom outdated. Everything was clean though. We stayed on the street side and you could hear everything from the street to your room. Other than that, the experience was good. The surroundings close to the main railway station are not the best but on the other hand it was convenient when arriving/leaving by train.

The hotel was very close to the Hbh and close to the Altstadt. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great. There was no laundry facility in the hotel but we were able to access a hostel around the block that was owned by the same owner and there was an excellent laundromat just down the street. I recommend removing the laundry option from your website with Expedia as itโ€™s not actually available on site.

The location was great, close to Central Station as we were travelling by train. Unfortunate that there was construction happening next door and this made that hotel a bit awkward to get to and a bit on rain on one of the days mad it quite muddy. The staff were very helpful

There is nothing NOT to like about the Helvetia; it is my 4 th time staying here and my go-to choice whether I travel solo or not. Safe feeling, excellent location and a delicious smorgasbord is available on site; personelle are friendly & helpful. One gets a sound and quiet sleep at the Helvetia.

Staff super helpful. They made some changes to accommodate my dietary needs for breakfast which was appreciated. Also nice clean rooms with modern decor. Really convenient location for Central Station.

Hotel Helvetia has a sparse, industrial chic about it. It's only steps from the main train station and S-Bahn, and an easy walk to many museums, shopping, and restaurants. Marien Platz is very close. Their staff are pleasant and efficint. The breakfast is excellent. There is major construction next door; but on the weekend when we were there, it was silent. We highly recommend the hotel.

Great for a one night stay! Itโ€™s a 10 minutes from MUNICH HBF Station. So very convenient. Itโ€™s walking distance to restaurants and shops, 18 minutes walk to Mary Church and ST Peterโ€™s. And there are nightclubs nearby as well. Clean, offers the basic shampoo soap (liquid, you have to squeeze the bottle). I had a good night and rested up pretty well. The staff was nice and welcoming! They have elevators, super plus.

The property itself was great for a single traveler. Simple but well kept. Clean, friendly staff, excellent breakfast (for Vegan, too!). When I checked in, I determined my AC to be faulty, and I was promptly changed to another room. The neighbourhood on the other hand is a little tricky โ€” it is more overrun with questionable characters than I remember on my last visit to Munich 10 years ago. On your brief walk into the old town you will encounter a number of homeless people laying on the sidewalks. Itโ€™s not the cleanest part of town. I believe with all of the construction in the area and signs of businesses opening soon they are looking to clean up area, so hopefully this is only temporary. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Okay stay.

Clean and okay room on first floor. Nothing fancy, but efficient. Reception door was locked as the receptionist had to attend to an issue and the phone number outside didnโ€™t work. (Promised to check). Very friendly receptionist when she was back.
