At first, we were apprehensive about the hotel from what others have put on the Internet. When I stayed there for 7 nights, I find peace and I felt safe. No issues with toiletries as I got my own shampoo and shower gel. The room was speck clean. I was able to hook my computer to the tv screen via my hdmi cable and stream movies to watch on it. I was able to feel at home with my own tv programs and radio music. The hotel provided my basic needs. I just had to make myself comfortable with my own things. Love the stay there and it was memorable. Btw, even without the aircon, the room was well ventilated and we we able to sleep well.

The hotel is a 15-minute walk from the train station, a 5-min walk from the subway, 30-min walk from Marienplatz. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

Very old place hotel! Mold in the grout of the shower, no air condition, slept on a sheet that is just on the mattress! For the price we paid it wasn’t what we were expecting. Beds were hard as well.

Couldn't ask for a better location if you're visiting for the oktoberfest. The hotel was very nice with spacious rooms and was literally 2-3 minute walk from the entry for the oktoberfest. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and allowed us to leave our car parked at the hotel for a few hours the next day even after we checked out.

Amazing location for Oktoberfest. There is no bathroom in the hotel, if you arrive early, you can leave your luggage, which is very helpful, but you can't use a restroom, which is awkward. Our hotel room had someone's left over half drank water bottle in it, so that was odd/unfortunate. The staff was very kind and helpful. Would stay again. No AC, but they do have fans you can ask at the front to borrow.

I was in Munich for Oktoberfest so it was the perfect location. Typical European hotel. My only complaint was the shower was a little finicky. It would go from cold to very hot during my shower. No AC so I didn't sleep very well. Again, that's typical. Staff were friendly and super helpful. I would stay again only in cooler months. I like it cool when I sleep.

I would stay there again. The location is quiet and readily accessible by transport. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a lovely building.

Locatie is voor Oktoberfestes perfect. Daarbuiten is het iets te ver buiten het centrum. Wel perfect parkeren bij het hotel. Personeel wel erg vriendelijk. Interieur is gedateerd.

Wonderful hotel in a historic building and neighborhood. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Within walking distance to the main train station and Marienplatz. Definitely try the traditional breakfast they provide. Would stay again!

Terrible place. Don’t recommend you at all. I had to travel early in the morning. I had a problem with the safe box. This place doesn’t have staff counter 24 hours. But they leave a “emergency number” to call. I called to ask for help cause my passport was inside the blocked strongbox. A guy that doesn’t want to identify himself, didn’t want to do anything, he said “it’s not my problem”, that I had to pay him 70 euros to come to see what’s going on. This guy was a rude, aggressive, and indolent person, as I have not seen before. Don’t go this place. If something happens to you (heart attack, stroke, slip down the stairs, any other problems) “it’s not their problem”, nobody will be there to assist you. Moreover, they didn’t have AC, they said “this is Germany”!. Not even a fan. What a dissapoinment! You know places when you have troubles. This hotel is absolutely not recomendable

Las habitaciones están preparadas para el frío, pero no para el calor por lo qué hay que abrir la ventana y se escucha el ruido del exterior. Las habitaciones son limpias pero como es una casa vieja se escuchan los pasos de arriba. La ubicación es buena, solo hay que brincar una zona no muy linda que están entre el hotel y el centro

Lovely hotel as long as you're not there in a heat wave (which aren't so common in Munich, but unfortunately there was one when I was there). No air conditioning! But the staff were super helpful, the place was reasonably-priced and pleasant, and I would definitely recommend it otherwise.

A Gem in Munich
We had a lovely stay at Hotel Uhland. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions about what to do in Munich since it was our first visit to the city. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. And the location was great: close enough to walk to museums and parks, yet in a nice, quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend Hotel Uhland and would stay here again on a return trip to Munich.

The hotel is nice, I enjoyed that it was older more traditional style but it could use some paint and a few updates. The location is a very nice neighborhood, it’s quiet about a mile from the Marienplatz…we didn’t see much to do or places we would eat nearby. The breakfast is fantastic and the staff couldn’t be nicer!
